Just thought I would say hi and introduce myself. I live in Western Australia in the middle of nowwhere, and having been an avid 4WDriver for many years I found I was scraping the bottom of the Commodore (Opal to you guys) on rough tracks not meant for a road goer, so I decided a Beasty was in order.
I have had Landcruisers and Isuzus, a Partrol SWB and a Forty-Shorty (FJ40 SWB Cruiser) and an old Series I Landrover tray. Having been Spare Parts Manager at a Leyland ,Rover, Triumph, Jaguar Dealership in a former life I couldnt go past the Disco eh? Deep Green Ser 11 V8 with most of the bells and whistles, comfort, class, and off road ability.
We have had some massive rains and a couple of cyclones in the last couple of weeks so this desert has been a wet 4WD paradise and I have taken the opportunity to..er.. play a little and got some pics that I will post in due course.
I just wanted to say hi this time
Cheers
