Hi all.

This isn't my first LR, however it is my first Disco. You know when you buy something and think "should I have just done that....." lol. Well I did.

After analysing the market I picked up a 2000X plated TD5 ES Auto with 138k, all the trimmings still intact and working, but it's not without it's issues!!

This weekend has seen me have to fit a new fuel pump and filter after getting stranded and a new top hose and intercooler pipes. So far after a good 10-15 min purge all seems well Top hose and intercooler pipes were planned jobs anyway.

I bought a disco over a Jap 4x4 because..............I need help?? I have always been a sucker, having worked for Rover until 2005 when it went bump, I have nearly always owned a British car (I get bored when I have nothing to do lol) I intend to tow quite a bit with this, so any tips would be welcomed.

Issues left to sort......

Safari spots not working (checking the relay today)
Water ingress from the roof somewhere (will look into the drain tubes when warmer)
Need to look at the TV's and DVD player.

So we will see how it goes eh lol
