Help me please !! First Range Rover I have ever owned and its driving me insane with an intermittent fault. -- here goes.......
Start the car; one day fine but next day we have a variety of lights flashing including ABS warning light, DSC warning light , Brake system warning light and occasionally but not every time an HDC light -- these are accompanied by the messages "HDC INACTIVE and AIR SUSPENSION INACTIVE". To eliminate certain things you should be aware it does it when its cold and when its warm, wet and dry, day and night, stationary and moving - it can be driven for an hour without any sign of anything and then you stop thinking life is all wonderful again and low and behold its " xmas tree time again - flashing lights everywhere. Some times when you drive off they go out but mostly if they have not appeared for a while slowing down to almost a standstill or stopping can bring them back on ; but not every time. I have been to our local independant Land Rover man who kept it for 5 days; mumbled something like " think its ok now, not seen that one before - reset something or other so try it over easter....... guess what half a mile down the road they are back again, off again. Definitely something amiss plus occasionally get the ABS effect on the brake pedal when they're on and feels wierd on the steering for a few seconds. Bottles of wine / whiskey waiting for anyone that can help relieve me of this nightmare. OH , if i posted this cry for help in the wrong place i'm new to this so can someone put me right please Thankyou
