Hi Folks - me wifes got a 03 FREELANDER WITH 32K MILES and has developed a horribled grind from the rear axles specially when turning tight right hand corners -is the rear diff away??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

check the VCU immediately - then the diff mounts.

thanks mate- is the VCU , THE VISCOUS COUPLING UNIT ?????

yup
it wont be that making the noise - but it mite be causing it.
