I'm in the process of buying a new fuel tank for my '87 110. The current tank leaks like a sieve but the bash plate/under tray is fine. How should it be attached to the tank? It won't move an inch. Is it just seam sealer'd on. I'm thinking If I cut the tank open around it then roast it up it might melt the sealer (without exploding lol)

Any better ideas?
