Right guys, wondering if anyone could help me out, on my new truck build ive got a 300tdi engine, but ive put the manual injector pump on it with them lift pump and the option of a 200tdi fuel filter& housing or the 300tdi fuel filter & housing. Which would someone reccomend, as the old conversion when i bought the defender was the 200 filter and housing with the enigne, is that best? or what would you reccomend?

also, it would be REALLY handy if anyone could please tell me what fuel line goes where on the system between tank, filter, lift pump and injector pump.. as im very confused by where it all goes! lol

Thanks alot guys really helpful!

Edd

dosent really matter filters are the same ,you only need a line from tank to lift pump ,from lift pump to filter ,from filter to front banjo bolt on injection pump ,and from rear banjo bolt on injection pump straight back to tank

thats fantstic james, thanks alot, so ill probably use the 300tdi filter and housing as ive got spare filters laying around, it has two connectors on it, one running from the right hand side and one on top, is the one on the right for the connection FROM the lift pump, and the one on top for the pipe that then runs too the font banjo on the injection pump?

Brilliant, i really appreciate your help James, now i just need to find out which pipe is which on the fuel tank, or doesnt it matter?

thought so, im fairly sure i know which one is which, but will pull the pipes out and check it out, thanks for your help once again James, fingers crossed it all bleeds up alright!

300 tdi filter housing also has arrows cast into the top to show which way fuel goes in/out but i guess you have probably spotted that already
