Ok the story is my good old RRC has a 200tdi fitted and is way underpowered when setting off. When I got it, it had the 200tdi with the lt77 and lt230 transfer with 1.222 ratio and stock 3.54diffs with 265/75 16 insa tyres, so i was thinking as the motor sounds sweet and seems to pull well when it gets going that it must be due to the taller tyres. So i bought a lt230 with the 1.410 ratio to bring the gearing down to help which it has but if I had a trailer or caravan on i dont think it would set off on a hill without a lot of clutch slipping or sticking it in low. Today i decided to tweak the pump(on top under the cap) 1/4 of a turn at a time but i ended up with it wound in that far the lock nut had nothing to bite on:confused: oh and it still didn't kick out and black smoke when setting off so wtf is going on:frusty:

Im now drinking large amounts of larger which i find always helps(short term anyway):)
