Hi, can anyone help?
My discovery series 2 had a restricition around 2000rpm so reviewed some threads and thought it might be the fuel filter, after having a look at the filter it seemed it had not been replace in years. So replaced the filter and followed the advice on priming the pump, all seemed fine until I drove it down the road and it broke down. Wife towed me back as the battery had gone flat, recharged battery and re-primed pump. Car start so left it running for 10 minutes, once again took it for a drive and it broke down again, wife is really getting better at towing (not). Tried to restart the car which it turn over fine, but it seemed not to be firing.
Checked to see if I could hear the pump but nothing from pump, so checked the electrical supply to pump and I am finding only 2volts, check the supply to the fuse(10) I am seeing 12volts? tried exchanging the relay but nothing happens. Any ideas.
