The plastic fuel pump boost pipe has rubbed through on the injector pipe clamp. I patched it up temporarily with a piece of metal pipe from the old fuel return pipe I replaced.

Is this going to make much difference, or should I replace it ASAP, it's pulling fine but no smoke at all apart from startup.

as long as it is not leaking from anywhere, it should be fine.

Don't think it's leaking but going to order one up in the next lot of spares. Only problem is I can't find it on any of the websites. Anyone got a part number please?
