Hi,
we fitted a 200Tdi Discovery 12L into our 109 24V-FFR, LHD, ex-petrol, and now want to mount the diesel-filter to the bulkhead (as there is no with the petrol), but the fuel lines (PA12) coming with the engine are too short.
We were told, the diesel-tubes from a 300Tdi Defender would fit, so we can connect the lift-pump to the filter (banjo) and the filter (banjo) with the injection pump (banjo with 90 degree bow).
Can anyone confirm the supposed fitment and tell the codes of the diesel tubes of a 300Tdi 90 or 110?
Perhaps, we have to fit new connectors to the lift-pump, what kind of fittings are necessary? Are the coned threads? 1/4" BSF? What are the proper dimensions of the PA-tubes, as the prints on the Discovery pipes are vanished away.
We would appreciate any help on this topic.
Kind regards and thanks in advance.
Heinz

When I fitted 200 engine to my series 3 I used the same type tube as was already in looked like 8mm pneumatic air line check your diameter , I actually filed out the olives previously used and re used them but this supplier should have all the Parts you need.
Brass fittings from SSL diesel Parts.
Other people have used rubber tube over the top of the plastic tube but I think too many opportunities for leaks.
