Hi, 2.5 TD5 15P. Have a bust pipe, its the one coming from the top of the fuel regulator and runs behind the oil dipstick tube to the front of the cylinder head. You don't seem to be able to buy this pipe as a separate part but it comes with the regulator (LRO16318). Can you just remove the pipe from the new regulator and fit to the engine? The regulator is working fine and no leaks so I don't want to to change it. The pipe is burst where the rubber flexible part crimps to the metal pipe. Has anybody had this as it appears to be unusual for it to leak where it has.
Thanks

Hi, Just a thought - when most people replace these FPRs they dont bother replacing this pipe because (as you'll find) they are very difficult to get to at the engine block end. So they tend to leave it in situ and undo it from the FPR therefore having one as spare. If you're lucky there may be someone near you who has done this and will have one available.
