Hi............I have an intermittent fuel injection fault light coming on in my 05 Range Rover 3.0 TD6 which causes the car to cut out. Happens with varying levels of fuel in tank as thought might be a split line. Have checked fuel lines for cracks etc and can't find anything wrong....................has anyone had similar problem and any ideas as to reason for occasional fault.

John ,
I know its a year ago , but did you get this sorted or find any help from anywhere - I have the same problem on the same model RR . Apparently common but find difficulty getting any info

Hi there
I can also see that this was posted years ago but I am experiencing the same problem on my 02 RR TD6.
What was the result in the end?

Could be an injector going down. I had it on my last 3.0 TD6. Changed the in tank pump, in line pump, fuel pressure sensor on the end of the camshaft and it still did it.

Mine turned out to be one duff injector, you can do the leak off test (do a search) which gives an indication if there's a bad one

possible in line fuel pump,if the injector is leaking in to the engine as mine was the engine races and coughs a bit of smoke along with the old fashioned diesel rattle .
