My 1999 td5 defender is taking about 6 secs to fire up....Once it starts runs fine.
Fuel filter housing bracket cracked off and pretty gunked up inside so need a new one. Whats the difference between a disco and a defender one other than £40....my water trap sensor on mine fell off about 10 year ago and was fine so does it need that?

I fitted one of these to my 1996, 300tdi
Change the filter (£7) every 2 years ...
