Replaced the fuel tank, but the filler hose is in need of a trim (long story short, the small tank had a long hose, the replacement had a short hose...too damn short).

To save us a mountain of time (do NOT want to take the tank off again) can we access it be removing rear wheel and plastic arch so we can remove about 3/4 of an inch off the rubber hose going from the filler neck to the tank neck?

The problem is the hose is currently too long, preventing the tank from being pushed away from the prop shaft. It's not a huge problem, but it will be when it wears through and exploding noises stop me in my tracks :D

Thanks lads ;)

Yes, see RAVE, Section 19 in Workshop Manual. Access seems to be via wheel arch liner.

Thanks for that, but I've never been to a rave! I wouldn't know what to do :D

I'll try to take some photo's as it's being done ;)
