I'm located in the U.S. and purchased this, with hopes of putting a few bucks into making the body perfect and traveling around, with a roof top tent throughout the summer. Some issues have caused this not to happen, and it's still sitting at the persons home, who I purchased it from. It really needs to leave their home at this point.

It's a 1990 Land Rover Discovery. Rare 3 door. TDI. Motor was replaced about 60k ago, and it has an automatic transmission.

Looking to get 1,488

Finding an early running 3 door seems tough, even in the UK.

The motor was replaced, I believe it has around 60 ish K

The body has under 200k.

Would need to double check.

Runs and drives good though.

Really need to sell it though!

any pictures of the body ie arches and boot floor ?

forgot to ask is theres and MOT on it

Unfortunately no. The person who I purchased it from, is a middle aged women who bought it from a family friend. I believe it was just used as a spare vehicle.

No mot. The family had no more use for it, which was the reason for the sale. They've been kind enough to let it stay at their place, but it needs to go. Quickly, as they need the space.

Sorry, but I don't think you'll get anything like you're asking without an MOT, and even with one you'd still be hard pushed to get that much, even if it hadn't been stood for a while. Do you know anyone, or a reliable garage, nearby who might get an MOT on it and make it at least minimally roadworthy so it can more easily be moved?

No MOT automatically puts it in the scrap price band, regardless for many people. Think a third of what you are asking at best. £500 bought me a '96 with 115k on the clock, 8months MOT, and a lot of the usual rot already cut out and well repaired.

RRC wheels on it are a bit of a turn off too, least for me.

Open to offers

No disrespect to you pal but a discovery without mot or pictures of any work that might be required is never going to fetch anywhere near that price especially on here regardless of how much you may have paid for it. Honestly your best bet would be to try and get some pictures and try and find a way to eBay it because as it stands you'd be lucky to get a third of what you're asking. That's not meant as criticism just a honest appraisal especially trying to sell it on here, even on eBay I'd say it would top out at 5-600

I appreciate the input guys.

This whole ordeal has been a huge life lesson, which has costed me a fair amount of streas and money.

During searching for vehicles, and dealing with everyone in the Uk, everyone has been an absolute gentlemen. Really helpful folks.

Stick it up for £500 and someone will buy it off you win some you lose some at least will be out of your way.

I listed it on eBay. It wouldn't let me post on the UK eBay, but I put the location in the UK and ships worldwide. Hoping it will show up in the UK listing.

You're right, win some and lose some. This was a learning experience. Life is too short to have it disrupt my daily life. I just want it sold, so it's out of the persons home where it currently is at.
