Hi, My d2 has a loud squeak from nearside front wheel area when turn wheel left and right.
No noise when jacked up with no weight on it.
Originally thought tracking rod end but changed that and still there !, now thinking in the hub area ?

any suggestions welcome....

Have exactly the same problem myself. I'll be interested in the solution. In the interim I intend to squirt oil behind the rubber boots on that side. Like you track rod ends renewal is fairly recent.

I had similar issue with my Rangie. Is it definitely not a squeak that relates to rotation of wheel going round?

Mine was the brake pad, eliminated the sound by braking whilst turning whilst the squeak was there, then the squeak then disappeared. Bit of copper slip on the back if the pad job jobbed

could easily be the swivel ball joints

yeah im now thinking one or both ball joints on swivel !, done hubs before but this looks more in depth and dont have any presses for replacement.

if you undo nuts on ball joints and remove the steering knuckle worn joints will show then, often they dont whilst knuckle is secured
