I have read on here that if using oem ball joints you will be fine as long as you do not disturbed the adjustment collar on the hub

dove Active Member Jan 19, 2014 #3 When I did mine I just centred the washer on drive shaft with axle case,been fine since,the seal seems pretty flexible anyway,put grease on inner lip off seal before assembly as well .
