Sorry for the stupid question. Done a search but can't find this.

When I replace the front shockers on my '03 TD5 auto, is it a straight out-and-in or are there any wearable bits that I should do at the same time?

far as I can remember in & out mate...obviously if ya coils are a bit saggy might be worth doing while you're there
 
Hmmm... Dunno if I can be arsed. Only 50k on the clock. Which springs would you recommend, bearing in mind I don't off-road in it and want a decent road ride?
