Been looking at some front seat retrim kits. Does anyone know if there's anything better or "special" about the ones from Exmoor trim as opposed to the usual Britpart ones, since they are that bit more expensive?
I know exmoor have various options for upgraded covering materials, but I'm just looking at the standard black vinyl and it's still 30-40 quid more per seat - is the foam better or something?
Ideally, I'd like to find a retrim kit that gave slightly more fluted sides on the cusions, more of a bucket seat feel but can't find anything like that.
Cheers :)

Thanks for the replies... I think I'll be going Britpart (for once!).... Enquiries with Exmoor did not reveal anything that sets them apart anyway... just over-charging basically it seems.

My Landy's had horrible ill-fitting discovery seats in it for years, which have now finally collapsed. I just liberated some original seats out of an 89 defender that's been sat out in all weather for about 15 years... Amazingly the frames and even the seat coverings (apart from the driver's base) are in good order. However, the foam is split and sagging so looking forward to a complete overhaul :)

I did just the seat bases in my 90 as the backs were alright. It's the base that gets the most abuse with decades of drivers' arses sliding in and out. The rest section at the side crumbles and disintegrates. Makes a big difference and makes you wonder why people waste their time fitting random seats from other vehicles that don't work in a land rover.
