Hello all,

Just bought a couple of orange poly bushes for the front roll bar. I thought £6 wasnt too bad a price.
Anyway, upon looking down through the engine bay, the old bushes just seem to be attached by two bolts on each saddle. My new bushes do not have a slit in them though I presume I can slit them in the same place as the old ones and this way won't have to remove the roll bar completely which looks like a pain in the harris, so to speak!

So, my questions are,

1) Is it an easy job?

2) Can I re-use the bolts once I've loosened them and then just slip the new bushes into place?

Anyone else done this job?

Edit - polys from £6, any links?

1. Easy peasy, approach from the back of the subframe, rather than bent over double in the engine bay.
With poly you will have to remove drop link, slide along the roll bar.

2. Yes, but they rust so some standard M8 with larger hex head wouldn't go a miss.

Plenty of penetrating fluid the day before you tackle it.
