Hi all - I want to remove the front prop shaft to work on it, can I do this without removing the vcu and rear prop shaft, it's only about 1500 miles since it was all out to replace the VCU and it's bearings so it shouldn’t be to corroded?

yes you can but i think you will find it easier to remove the lot and seperate on the bench.

Thanks Freelance I know what you say makes sense - it's just the thought of supporting the VCU with prop shafts attached whilst I fasten it up

Its best as a whole unit. Just done mine on my own. Its ok, just need to support the vcu with a jack or something.

Good luck
