Think the pre 99 models should have one Lamda probe before each Cat. Later model has one before and one after Cats.

Correct, but there might be a blind plug for inserting one
Up to 99 one Lambda per pipe. 99 on, two Lambdas per pipe. Well according to Land rover, but what do they know? Look at RAVE.

AFAIK it is indeed NAS only, My 99 (Thor) only has the precat Lambdas, and bungs for the post-cat Lambdas, the EMS receives a constant .455v for the (non existent) post-cat Lambdas to keep the system happy.

Been on hols Ant. Got offered a council house and DLA when i came thru immigration.
Maybe it's Land rovers cheap way out. But RAVE does not mention NAS only. Just says two Lambdas on each pipe post 99.(Wiring diagrams sort it out, post Cat Lambda NAS only).
