Had this disco for over ten years just noticed I can't unlock the front passenger door with the key but can lock it the rod that goes from the rear of the barrel is missing is this available as a part if so part number?
 
Missing ?? its got no where to go but fall inside the door, have you checked its not hung up some
where behind the window frame or inside the door.

Or its had enough of being locked down & fecked off out. :D

So whats missing 7 or 8.. 7 = MTC9145 8 = ALR3361

There's no sign of the missing rod someone has already been in there the two screws and bolt that hold the lock in place were only hand tight the rod I saw that was missing would attache to 36 (pivot) so I would assume its 35 but will pull the door card off to check as done the lock spring last year.

35 is for the central door locking, if it locks and opens with the central door locking then it won’t be that,
I thought you said it didn’t open with the Key ?
 
If it’s from the key barrel it should be 8 rod and 9 clip
Mxc3818 and Mxc3175lun respectively,
