Please help me before my temper goes and i do something i will regret to my landy......

the front passenger side indicator is not working.

The drivers side flashes as it should, with the back, dashboard arrow and front lighting up together,

but the passenger side back works and the arrow works, but tick really fast as the front is not working.

i put my meter on the front passenger side, and it is recieving 7 volts that alternates between 0 and 7, to correspond with the flasher unit ticking.

the other lights which do work are also recieving 7 volts.

i have plugged the left hand unit in the right hand side, and it works, i have also made a new earth wire to a good earth, and the light still does not illuminate. ...

has anyone got any ideas.... please?

Theres some bullet connectors behind the grille at the top, these join the little loom for the front lights into the main loom, I bet one of those is manky, you have to pull back some of the tape to get to them.

cleaned a few connections up, and would you believe it, managed to get the indicator working..........

by the time id screwed the dashboard back together, put the steering surround back on and the front grill, and shut ther bonnet,

i now have a non flashing front indicator, no sidelights and one front headlight, so i think ill be rewiring the headlights, sidelights and indicators this weekend........

hmmmmmm..... i reckon so!

still, all the wires round the front look to be in quite a poor shape, so ill make up a new front end loom for the sidelights, headlights and indicators!

ive always wanted a series 3, so im "Living the dream" so to speak! :D
