This may be a silly question, but the front passenger fog light has an ingress of water. I have checked the lens but there is no visible cracks!
I am thinking it will need replacing, now the question is how do I remove it? Do I have to remove the washer bottle? I have a 1999 TD5 it has the rectangle shaped front fogs.

Just had a peek at RAVE and the recommended methods are:

For RH lamp: Remove 7 screws securing wheel arch liner extension to liner and bumper valance and remove liner extension. Disconnect lamp multiplug from harness.

For LH lamp:Remove front bumper assembly.

Doesn't mention anything about the w/screen washer bottle, but I neglected to look at the procedure for removing the front bumper assembly.

I've never found fog lights the slightest use, and the MOT doesn't seem to care whether they're working, so I just leave them dead.

Just take out the wheelarch liner as above, don't forget the vent pipe. If that is off, water will get in. The lights are a sealed unit but the vent pipes do get damaged or are missing.

Easy job to do, give the Spire nuts in the liner screws a dose of WD40 before you start.
