Sorry for the stupid question, but do all the rubber seals on the front doors (or just doors on my SWB!) attach to the doors or the bodywork?

In particular, part 395672 on the leading edge of the door top.

My Landy had these fitted to the frame before, but the lower front seal didn't fit at all, well, and seeing the seals shown on the page with the actual door has got me wondering whether they were fitted in the wrong place previously....although I suspect it's just a Britpart issue! :)

To the body, not the door, unless you have an air portable, in which case to the door lower, and the body upper.

Britpart. Enough said.

Doors are adjustable in every direction and the lower sill seal is adjustable as the sill can be moved in and out.
If the door top seals dont fill the gap mastic a bit of electrical flex under it to bulk it up a bit.......or bend the door top in a bit.

OK, thanks, all.

Thinking about it, it's pretty obvious where they are supposed to fix. It was the diagram for 395672 that really got me doubting where they were supposed to fit. But I can see now that they fit to the windscreen sides.

It wasn't the fit of the door that was the problem with the seal I fitted (I'm not close to actually fitting the doors, yet), but the curved seal on the bulkhead didn't seat very well around the profile of the channel. I think the problem was caused by the pre-drilled rivet holes in the seal strip not quite lining up with the holes I already had in my bulkhead. So I've got a bit of a crease in it, so I may need to drill out the rivets and reseat it if it doesn't fit well against the door.

But thanks for the hints about the adjustments. I'm sure that'll be useful advice!
