Hi,
I have had both front suspension coil springs replaced on my 04 Freelander 1 after a cracked spring.
Do I need to get the car tracking checked?
Will a simple tracking check be ok or should I get a more expensive four wheel laser alignment done?

Many thanks

thanks - should I have had it done after a track rod end was changed? (changed few months ago and all seemed ok but after the coils changed the steering wheel is very slightly off to the left when car straight)?

Yes. Should have been done after TRE change.

Thanks Wammers.
One last query - I can get basic tracking done for £15 at one tyre centre or four wheel alignment on a new laser machine at £75

Will the basic one suffice as they cannot look at the camber?

Thanks

Most Nation Tyre centers will do a check for under £30, have a ring around also ring Michelin Tyre centers they're reasonable too ...
