On my 92 Disco the front brake mudshields (they seem to protect the disks from the worst of the muck) are rotting away and I feel I should replace them. Has anyone any idea what they are called, part number etc.? Are they really needed? All my on-line searches have not located them.

Definitely front, back ones are fine.

Try this, there is a Left and a Right hand version. (It come under Front axle Breaks)
