Hi
I've just joined the forum after reading some of the posts and finding quite a bit of useful information.
My experience of Land Rovers so far has mainly been with Discoveries. I used to have a Series I TDi and now have a Series II TD5.
However, the time has come to branch out into something a bit more basic. I am hoping to buy a Series III Lightweight 2.25 petrol. One thing I am not too clear about is the electrics. I would be interested to know what members think are the relative advantages and disdvantages of 12v and 24v systems. I have heard that parts for 24v system are more expensive. Other than that are there other things I need to consider?
