Hello all.

First post here and what I guess will be the first of many!
Took the plunge and bought a '88 Defender 90 off ebay (was it a mistake? who knows)

First stop was the garage to get the handbrake fixed - sheered cable and new brake expander required!

Here's some photos. It needs a good clean and a complete do over inside.
Whats people's thoughts and what jobs should I tackle first?

Welcome to the forum, looks a good project you have there
Just a good poke about around the chassis and new fluids and filters, then take your time on the rest!
Get some anti theft stuff too.. especially if you're parking it on the road

Welcome mate

As mentioned above, fluids and filters also grease propshaft sliders and universal joints and check for play everywhere, drivetrain/suspension/steering.
Then tell yourself its a tratter and ignore it :D

Get some good security on it.

So tell us, what engine you got? more info on the wee beasty? plus more epiccies.

Cheers
