Good morning folks. I had a look on various forums and apparently freestyle alloys dont fit defender 90 200tdi's or rear drum braked models. I've upgraded to disk axle on the rear but still on the original on the front. Does it clash on the front too as it only mentions the rear?

They won't fit the front either as the plastic cap on the axle pokes through the centre cap of the alloy wheel

A company produced this extended centre-cap for when fitting the Firestyle aftermarket wheel (Freestyle lookalike but designed for early axles & drum-brakes) but I believe it fits the genuine article as well.
Not a fan but I suppose better than the caps poking through (which looks awful anyway).

Wheel spacers will be needed or the wheels will not fit

So spacers or upgrade axle to 300tdi type it is then. Hmm.......
I read someone put 6mm spacers and and longer studs
