The other day my Freelander developed some issues.
The radio stopped worki and the dippers were very slow.
That night I was on my way to work when a host of warning lights apeard and the dash lighs started to dim as well as my driving lights.
Yes it eventually stopped and wold not restart.
I pushed it to safety with help from a passer by and got a lift to work. I was told at work get a new battery, I thought it was the alternator, anyway.
The next morning I managed to get it started with the use of a power pack. I noticed a thick red wire down by the alternator not connected what had the terminal snapped. I bungeed the power pack to the engine to get me home.
When I got home I reattached the leed, not before getting a nice big spark when it grounded against the alternator.
Now the starter will not spin .
What have I burned out? I'm stumped, any hell would be great.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

Probably the 50,60 or 90 amp fuse whichever it is, where did you connect lead to, starter or alternator?
