Can anyone give me a reliable estimate for a rear engine oil seal replacement done by an independent on a freelander2 SD4 2011

Not cheap as the gearbox has to come off to get to it. If it's a manual, then it's daft not to have a complete clutch fitted at the same time.

There's been a few FL2 rear oil seals failing recently. I wonder if that's a trend for the future. They seldom failed on the FL1.
