Hi Guys
Can someone help please.I own a freelander1,but when i bought it the IRD had been replaced ,but the propshaft have not. I was advised not to replace it,becuse these vehicles have endless problems with the IRD's and it is better not to put back the propshaft. I have spoken to sevral Land Rover mechanics here is SA all with the same advice. Is There any truth to this, and if so is there a way to remedy the problems. I would very much like to put back the propshaft, but don't want to risk the problems that goes with it. The car has been running without problems and now has 206 000km on the clock.
Any information regarding this issue will be appreciated
Thanks
