Just got a 1.8 freelander for rebuild ,head ect and have noticed only one cooling fan fitted ,should there be two fans ? all the wiring is there but hoping someone knows whats -what help my thanks neil

From looking at the rave disk (like the haynes manual but betterer), the higher fan is for the engine. Lower fan for the air con. Does yours have air con? Just guesswork.
