I bought a 1998 freelander 1.8 petrol with 60 000on the clock, its now standing on 84 000 and it has not blown up yet.I ve had no problems what so ever-nothing,and i take her off road every weekend. Is it just a matter of time before all goes tits up with the HG and is there more out there that has high mileage that has not blown yet?

yours must be a friday afternoon model. they didn't have the time to put in the inbuilt faults.. i'd keep quiet about it, incase landrover recall it so they can be fitted

Pretty poor troll really. To be a good troll the bait on the hook has to look at least a little like reality.:)

Norway? Wasn't that the prickteaser who got her house burned down? Pardon my misogyny, it was the Beatles!

There's only two types of Freelanders .... those that have broken down and those that are going to.

as far as I know they only live under bridges. I'm not sure where but it's bound to be wherever they make Freelanders

PMSL thats depressingly true, but very funny at the same time :D

God don't you know nuffink. It's goats that live under bridges, Trolls live in forests.

It's also quite common to see freelanders living there with their owners while they wait for the magic orange truck to take them home:p
