Hi All
I done the dreaded deed, didn't know how common this mistake was until I looked on line after the event. (removed wrong bung to check oil level on freelander td4 auto box, resulting in reverse band dropping and no reverse on the freelander.
To my anger when I looked on line the only fix is g box out and strip to refit bung and band.
However I managed to do it without taking g box out.
If any of you have this problem please contact me and I will run through it with you, it should save you a lot of cash and time.
