Posted a fortnight ago, that my clutch just went down, and stayed down. Only had the FL 7 weeks, sohad it towed back to the garage, surprise surprise, the clutch wasnt covered by the warranty.
Anyway, Had the slave and aster cylinder done, and the clutch, seeing as the box was out. £620.00 the garage oh so kindly tipped £100 up. But at least Im not worrying the clutch will go.
Now then, have been seeing wet patches under the FL, squeezed under her yestterday, and there is waht looks like a crimped pipe, about 18mm dia, dripping water, been told its probably the Aircon system, and shouldnt worry, but Id like some Knowledgeable advice off you lot.

Cheers

Crimped rubber pipe prob is aircon
Easy to identify - Turnt aircon off for a few days and see if tha pipe stops dripping

I was trying to identify a leak on mine and my aircon carried on dripping for about 3 days before drying out, any longer and you have a problem

If the drips look and smell clean it is aircon

If they feel greasy and coloured its oil or anti freeze

Air con can drip for days. Depends on ambient temperature, moisture levels, angle of vehicle when parked, etc, etc. Sample a drip (bit of white kitchen towel is good). Air con drips are just water so should be completely clear, clean and odour free.

As Shutty says, if you looks, feels or smells like anything other than water more invetigation will be required!
