Hi everyone, i am new to landyzone.
Could some one help me with this problem.

I have a freelander 1 2006 and the sat nav has gone funny - the directional arrow moves all over the place, i can put an address in and it gives directions which do not corerspond to the road layout at all and i seem to be stuck somewhere in Liverpool. Sometimes the display simply reads "off road"

I contacted a landrover dealer and they want £125 to just look at it ! - I'm sure there must be a cheaper solution.

I'd be really grateful if someone could help with advice.

Buy a map.

sounds like it need recalibrating, there should be an option to do that, i know my tomtom has.

Stand by for some ragging but welcome to the madhouse!

Seriously though, do you have access to the control panel on your satnav?

If so, try doing a 'Factory Reset', which should bring everything back up as it should be.

Errr, just for a matter of interest, are you in Liverpool?

Otherwise, buy a map :doh:

it must be broke!!!!! freelander "off road" ound: o an if your lost follow sign posts like they did in the old days :doh:

first off cure the basic problem .... stick the hippo on fleabay.....then get a disco and a map

Thanks for all those replies - some funny, some sad, some i don't really understand and some that are very worrying ( you know which ones they are! ) but then sounds like I will need to get used to this forum stuff !!

Thanks for the sensible ones - i'll try recalibrating it.
