So, I'm new to the whole Land Rover aspect of life.

I am absolutly in love with my Freelander.

However, the more forums and things i read on modifications and offroading and such, I am more and more seeing people call them GayLanders? and one site said the Freelander was a low level Land Rover, and most peoplewho own other Rovers hate them and people who drive them.

Is there any truth to these statements?

How do people feelabout Freelanders? Any comments from Land Rover drivers not driving Freelanders?

I think we on LandyZone can be proud of the fact that the term Gaylander was probably first coined here, it's purely a derogatory term in the interest of having a laugh. Don't look upon it as a low level Land Rover think
