Hi all, new to the group. Always wanted a Series, but currently considering a Freelander. Im actually looking for somthing thats bigger and more rugged than my C-Max as we carry a lot of stuff.
My C-Max has a boot capacity with the seats removed of 1430 litres. Is the Freelander bigger?
Cheers all. Darren

Which Freelander?
A Freelander 1 is quite a bit smaller than a Freelander 2, the latter is about the same size as a D1, and a good amount larger than a Cmax.

Dimensions are
Freelander 1 is about 375L for the boot, and about 1400 seats folded.
Freelander 2 boot is 755L with the seats up, and 1670 with them folded down.

Driving wise, the Freelander 2 is lightyears ahead of the FL1, and IMO better than a Cmax too.

Thanks for that, I may have to look at a Freelander 2 then.
