Can anyone help my brother in law has a 2003 TD4 which is prone to over run once the ignition is switched off if it is cold or wet. This happens on long or short journeys, and now thw SRS light is constantly on.
You could try looking for a fuel stop solenoid that may have gone dooolaly? or sometimes if the car has been running very rich it can coke up the cylinders causing hot spots on the cylinders allowing the fuel to carry on igniting after switch off... or...leaky injector?
Its possible that the fuel shut of valve is letting by or as the Lab say's injector problem, needs only one to play up when a deisel is hot ,but dont put the silly fuel injector cleaner in a td4 unless you want problems . . . Ming
