Hi 2 all I am a newbie to this site...

So 1st of all let me say Hi:D

2ndly I need some help with my freelander!!

I have owned it only for 6 months or so & touch wood will trouble free driving up until now DOH.. . I was driving back from golf & when I got close to home this eveing a knocking noise from underneath started to happen. It sounds as if its as the wheels are turning or the drive shaft is spinning & I can also feel it on the gear stick.! it is noisier when I am out of gear & coasting what could this be:confused: ...I have got it booked into a garage for them to look at on Monday I just wanted some kind of info as to what it could be & if there was anywhere trustworthy in the DARTFORD area at all I could use to get this problem sorted out.

Thanks to all for you time & look forward to posting some more.

hi welcome..i misread yer title and i thought we was gonna be verbally abusing the gaylanders again. try postin in the gaylander bit furthur doon the page

Well I have got myself dirty & taken a look underneath..!!

It appears to be a leak between the rear part of the driveshaft between the back wheels...!! Any1 had this before & how much am I looking at...

I might just torch the bloody thing & get the insurance back if its gonna cost too much...LOL...

Be lucky to all
