I have had a search on here for some of this but I am going to write my own post to cover all of the issues.. First of all this should be easy, slight knock when I change gear or accelerate hard, assuming this is worn bushes maybe carrying the diff or something..is there any common areas I should check first.. It's a 53 plate freelander 1 td4 by the way.
Also it has a very annoying fault, very temporary power loss at 70, very temporary loss of turbo...as soon as I slow for a junction or go around a roundabout boost is back for maybe 20 miles. I read a thread on this and it could be all sorts, I don't really know what I am looking at in the engine bay so not even sure which pipes to check for splits or where the boost solenoid or maf is for example, can somebody help me, is there maybe pictures somewhere to get me started.. I am a bit of a novice especially with landrovers!
