just sell the car, no offence but freelanders are for women and they are pathetic cars.

Problem solved pump takes about 60-90 seconds to stop priming.
This is a long time for the pump to prime. Usually done by 10-15 secs.
Are you really sure about your suction side connections and unblocked pipes?
Just don't make the mistake I did where I didn't connect the pipes back together properly and the pipe from the pump to the filter came off whilst driving, engine management light came on and fuel pouring out the back.
Could a blocked filter/pipes be causing these problems or would excessive leaking of the injectors cause this extra priming?
No offence but 69 series are far from sporty and women don't date skint useless tw@ts.
You too, My management light didn't come on, but the car drove fine for about a mile, then cut out going through the traffic lights (2 sharp turns) trailing diesel along the road. Managed to coast through the lights with heavy steering & brakes & get the car safely to the side before getting my poor old dad to tow me to a layby to sort it. Easily done especially if your not sure how hard to press them home. Mine appeared to click into position but was definitely not properly home as I saw when I redid the job.
