hi all this will get you thinking
1998 1800 freelander,bought non runner so very cheap! any way took engine and gearbox out to do a full rebuild on engine,replace clutch etc ,all back together and back in wont start on the key but will start with a small tow!
when runing has very little engine vac 10hg emissions all over the shop runs like a pig! new bearings,new rings,valves lapped,head skimmed,bores de,glazed,new gaskets etc,new plugs,leads,cap,rota cam and crank timing all checked and spot on! anyway its driving me mad must be missing something silly cant work it out
any ideas would be great
