Hi all,
My increasingly troublesome freelander appears to have a dodgy MOT on it - handbrake needed replacing, took to my mechanic, and it turns out at some point someone has removed the entire backplate unit and just drilled a hole into the assembly and run the cable through it - suffice to say this has snapped and I am now trying to source a new backplate assembly
my question is - what size do i require ? its a 2001 Y reg Freelander Swagon, 1.8 with ABS and 3 door (SWB)
I believe that there is a larger diameter brake for 03 oonwards, which doesnt affect me, BUT I have alos seen that there is a wider and slimmer version of the brake ?
just need to know which years / models (diesel / petrol) will have stable componenets to get
Thanks
Ian
