Hi, I'm David and have recently bought a Freelander 2, 2007, 2.2 Diesel.
I have a notification at intermittent intervals of 'transmission fault traction reduced'. The service history shows a very recent overhaul of the rear diff. Could this mean it only needs a diagnostic reset. I have looked in the owners handbook and the Haynes manual but to no avail.
Also I am a DIY mechanic where appropriate with limited knowledge. I am to replace the fuel filter. Any tips on priming- I have read stories of the battery becoming flat on turnover before fuel flows.
Appreciate any help you guys can give, thanks!
