Good afternoon fellow Landy lovers, first post here and looking for some advice.

I have a 2011 Freelander 2.2 td4 which failed its MOT last week on a broken coil spring. (half an inch off the end of the coil !)
anyways, what started out as replacing the shock turned into replacing the shock, the bottom wishbone, anti roll bar link and track rod end. (long story but I swear Landrover used plastic bolts on this damn thing !)

So all new parts fitted on the drivers side, back down for MOT and had tracking done at the same time. Well she passed with a couple small advisories no big deal. Driving home from the MOT I noticed severe torque steer when I put my foot down, I'm talking almost a quarter turn of the steering wheel to the right, let off the throttle and all returns to normal, drive smooth and gentle and I notice no pulling at all.

now ive been back under the car thinking I'm an idiot and ive forgotten to tighten something up (and the garage missed it somehow) to no avail, every bolt is tight and I cannot find any play ! ive been back under 3 times now questioning my own sanity and still I cannot find a solution !

Am I missing something ? is there something obvious I may have overlooked ?
Any advice greatly appreciated !

Did you have 4 wheel alignment done, or just tracking? Removal of the wishbone bolts requires correct alignment after the work is done. For this reason it's best to replace wishbones in pairs, so only one alignment session is needed.

just tracking, have to say I would never have thought of that as didn't realise wishbones were adjustable in anyway. local garage is quoting me £80 for computerised 4 wheel alignment so ill look into that. thanks !
