Hi new here so be nice! Just got freelander 2 57 plate but no manual,waiting for it to arrive but have a couple of queries. First I have what looks like a small camera in the bottom of rear view mirror any ideas? Second rear wiper going constantly even though I've switched off on steering column control? Thanks in advance!

is it a self dipping mirror and that is the sensor could be a couple of things with the rear wiper it could be switch is faulty or the reverse light switch is faulty but then this would only operate if the fronts were going I would go for the first thing

The rear wiper is operated by pulling the right control stalk towards you, so if you push the stalk away from you, it should switch off...the front is operated by moving it up/down, although the first notch up is for "auto" front wiper.

As said above, the thing in the rear view mirror is for auto dipping.

I've a 57 plate SE too, so ask away!
